With news now confirming what most of us already know, the United States of America is now officially a police state. Our own government has been doing to us what we only read about in George Orwell’s 1984. There is hardly a city in the U.S. today where you won’t find a surveillance camera on every street corner. Citizens are afraid of making sensitive telephone calls because of fear that the government may be listening in on their intimate conversations.
